Participation in sports by students has always been recognized as being

essential not only for physical development but also for the fostering and

inculcation of team spirit . Students of the College have shown great

proficiency in outdoor games as well as in indoor games.

The following games offered by the college are : hockey , football ,

swimming , volleyball , basketball , tennis , badminton , table tennis , squash ,

baseball , cricket , handball , athletics , gymnastics , karate and judo.

Facilities for indoor and outdoor sports, organized coaching camps ,

National and state level tournaments are an integral part of the Daly College.

The Daly College is one of the very few Schools in the country which can

boast of a Cricket Academy within its fold . Rajsingh Dungarpur ,

Rameshwar Pratap Singh of Kachhibaroda , Sardar Mohammad Khan Malik,

Surendra Sinh of Alirajpur , Suryavir Singh , Hanumant Singh and several

other eminent sportsmen are old students of the Daly College .

In 1997-98, Shruti Jhaver of the College won 14 medals at National level

swimming and has followed it up in 1998-99 with seven more . She

represented India in the Asian swimming competition held at Kaulalumpur.

the College can boost of National level players in disciplines like Squash,

Cricket, Hockey and Basketball.
